Orange white wine
On Christmas Day
Just for me :)
Uncle Eddie's Vegan Cookies are so good.
Tried new flavor today- Oatmeal Chocolate.
Personally, I hope chocolate chips are more in than now though..
But still yummy :)
Comparing with Oatmeal raisin cookies,
I score more on Oatmeal Raisin!!!
For more chewy and sweet.
Since the garbanzo can is in stock decided to make few out of this...
First off, i targeted 'Vegan Meringue Cookies".
I learned I could make vegan marshmellow fluffy (Chocolate Covered Katie) out of garbanzo liquid so thought about... what if I made meringue out of marshmellow fluffy???
It took so long than I ever imagine...
To making it fluffy... do not own the beater myself (donated when moving...), it took almost 1.5 hours.. yes, I am too seriously here.
Once it is ready to bake, another two hours.
Just as i imagined!!! :)
All the work I have done is not wasteful at all!
I tried Chocolate Covered Katie's Healthy Creme Cheese frosting just now.
I had a left over sugar that I already combined ingredients so I simply added to creme cheese, toffuti brand.
Blend them. Boom!
Healthy yummy frosting!!!
I used cane sugar.
Mixed with vanilla extract and soy milk.
I did not add any others on this. Simple 3 ingredients.
Super recommend on any muffins or as bread spread.
Toffuti creme cheese.
I put it into my mouth and tasted it.
I regrete that I have not get it earlier.
It tastes a lot better than regular one and it is more healthier!
I bought the plain one and the originaly reason I got was to make frosting icing using CCKatie's.
I think I will just eat up all to spreading on my donuts that I made yesterday. Haha.
The very first time trying "Coconut Bliss" ice creme.
I saw them in vegan festivals last year, but they only carried something nuts in it so could not taste it- nut allergy.
Today, I shopped around Whole Foods market near my parents and found their ice creme on sale! I picked "salted caramel" flavor, covered with chocolate. The box has 3 bars with price of $5.99.
So basically, $2 per bar.. very much pricey...
But once in a while I am deserved for this treat.
I love the creamy texture but my expectation on caramel flavor did not meet unfortunately...
Wish there's more caramel in it insteadl salty flavor...
Overall it is 7/10 score.
Today I made HH donuts.
I skippes chocolate chips and replaced the cocoa power with organic something berry powder that flavors like little bit sweet but sour(?) at the same time...
Since there are two many sweet ingredients already, I gave myself a breaj from it. The reason why no cocoa powder nor choco chips.
The dough turned out to be too sticky.
Did I pour too much of milk on here? I followed the instruction, dah-!
Because of stickiness of dough..., it was totally impossible shape it as regular donut.
Made icing to dip the donuts once they are all baked... icing turned out something not icing looking either...
Yeah... i havent baked for over 6 months... give me a break haha..
The finalized donuts... taste is good.
The density is quite densy... haha
I was sort of looking for something more fluffy light donuts like krespy kreme.
This recipe is more desitier like bread...
I enjoyed, however. Thats all that matter now.
Maybe i will be more accurate to my tasting and desire then.
Since I still have nut allergy it was hard to find the good recipe just suit for me- without oil.
I could have one from market that is already made but just do not want to. In price wise it is always higher than making it from scratch.
The easiest and the yummest pie crust I have ever come up with a day ago was so simple.
1 cup oats
1 cup medjool dates
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
1tbsp lime juice (lemon juice will be better)
1/4 tsp maple syrup (optional- i rather skip this for the future)
Blend oats first.
Put rest of the ingredients together and blend it.
I separated dates for two times just to make sure it mixes up well.
It can be eaten as it is like a 'pie ball'.
*Add permission on top yesterday like a pie.
Sprinkle pumpkin spice on top.
Omg, it kicks the flavor!!!
*Today, I just add strawberry jam on top of it.
It tastes just like a strawberry thumb cookie!
I was craving for dark chocolate for last few days...
This is so healthy compare to others in the market- vegan friendly. Non GMO. Gluten free. Peanut free. Tree nut free.
Also satisfies my allergies and others!!!
Tastes sooo good and it is crunch!
Costco has it at $9.99.
